Dynamesh – Environmental Modeling

Had a spare day at work so decided to continue some Dynamesh experiments. This time, tried some organic environmental modeling for a canyon rock. Dynamesh+Polypaint.

UDK Level – Capitol

I´ve been working for long in an interior environment in UDK. As always, don´t have much time, but when the rare opportunity shows up, I like continuing to work on it.
This is just a quick test using the new Dynamesh feature in Zbrush, which really gives you a lot of freedom!

Moved to Ubisoft Annecy

Good news! After 2 years working in Barcelona studio, I decided that it would be a nice idea to travel a bit, meet new people and work in exciting projects, and that´s how I ended in Annecy, France. Ubisoft Annecy is such a wonderful place, with an incredibly talented team and I´m really proud to be part of it. We are currently working on a unannounced AAA project that will be unveiled in the upcoming months. So, stay tunned!

Demandasaurus

I had the pleasure to work again with my friends at 2Renaissance in this project about bringing back to life a Demandasaurus.

All work done in ZBrush4.

I´ll post new images and final renders soon!

Zombie time!

Finally got sime free time after finishing a really stressing project at work, so spent the afternoon having some fun with ZBrush4.

Still very WIP, but this is a first draft of my impaled zombie head :P

Public Portfolio

Decided to share my professional portfolio, now that many Grin ex-employees have done the same.

Some art is from Wanted, other is old stuff from previous companies, some freelance jobs and a couple of personal unfinished projects.

New Job

Glad to say that after all the horrible Grin situation, I have a new job at Ubisoft as Lead Artist. I´m proud to be part of such a big and succesfull company, and to share my daily life with incredibly talented people. Hope to post some news about the games we are working on soon!

Old Man update

Got some unexpected free time these days, so I decided to work a bit on my professional portfolio (coming soon, I hope) and finish a bit more the old guy I was working some weeks ago.

Worked a bit more on the mesh and textures, and started setting up a render in mental ray. Decided to remove his hat and practice fur a little bit.

Hope I manage to finish this one!

3 Games in a Row!

These last months have been really interesting for Grin, releasing 3 games in a short period of time. Grin Barcelona was responsible for Wanted:Weapons of Fate. I´m quite proud of the work our team has done during the last two years. Great people and great time!
